Therapeutic Treatment Approach
Compassion Care Group programs will provide a loving environment for female adolescents to assist with past traumatic experiences. We will provide a safe, empathetic, and supportive setting. Studies indicate that the optimal approach for addressing mental health, depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues involves utilizing residential environments tailored to specific genders. Every personalized residential treatment program for adolescents integrates evidence-based clinical approaches, experiential therapy, and academic components. We identify and address the root causes o f self-destructive behaviors. With a staff-to-resident ratio of 2:4, we offer each adolescent dedicated support and guidance, fostering the acquisition of lifelong skills for their well-being and happiness.
What Is Teen Residential Treatment?
Residential treatment programs are offered in healthcare facilities that provide a structured environment. A residential schedule for young adolescents includes clinical care, experiential activities, and academics. While in residential treatment, clients live in comfortable settings and are supervised by trained staff. Staff members include psychologists, therapists, counselors, and nurses. At Compassion Care, our residential programs for young adolescents include an educational element alongside a well-organized schedule of clinical therapy. Teens engage in individual, family, and group therapy, along with various other approaches. Research suggests that the most effective residential treatment involves an integrated approach, addressing all facets of an adolescent’s well-being:
- Psychological
- Physical relationships
- Educational
Family Involvement
Our goal is to facilitate the healing of both the teenager and the entire family, mending any disruptions in the parent-child relationship to ensure adolescents feel secure seeking support from their parents during challenging times. Our mandatory parent involvement not only emphasizes aiding parents but also concentrates on assisting them in their own healing journey, fostering the development of a cohesive family unit. Studies emphasize that family engagement is a crucial component of an adolescent residential treatment program. Compassion Care facilitates outreach to the adolescent’s family members and seeks their participation in the adolescent’s treatment program. Compassion Care provides discharge planning, family-based aftercare, and support for a minimum of 6 months after the child is discharged.
